Loan Modification | Foreclosure Prevention

Seems like people are being foreclosed on all over the country. I think it is due to adjustable rate mortgages coming to term and the job market being so poor or at least changing. Me? I got divorced then lost my job. I fought a long time to keep my home and then when I land a great job, the bank says too late.

Hey guys, I really appreciate your advice. Bankruptcy or chapter 13 is the only way to save your home and you can not apply for it unless you have an income.
I really am just curious as to how many are in my boat.

The House is in my wifes name and we are facing foreclosure..they have set a date of nov. 6th in georgia. what can we do to save the house. we supposedly had been approved for a loan modification…and now they are saying the loan negtiator is making the decision…meanwhile the date is coming. we hired a stop foreclosure place..paid them 700 and still are facing the same thing..we can’t reach this person at lender as they say it’s all up to her if we can modify our loan or not…do what can we do now…we want to keep home…don’t really want bankruptcy….it’s like if we can get this phantom person to say yea or nea…that would at least help.
